A handful of people have asked me how to redecorate villager homes in the past few days, so here’s a how-to guide just incase more people want to know but they don’t want to ask.
I’m just going to add to this, that putting the items you want a villager to use for sale at Re-Tail works 100%, if you follow the rest of the guidelines here on function and size.
But you have no way of knowing when a villager will visit Re-Tail, though I suspect the TTing method described here would work too?
I’ve managed to redecorate Kiki’s house to this (writing chair, Flamingo, computer, cactus) by using this method, and I’m now working to replace the fossil with an ebony piano and the sea bass with a hammock.
The koi got there because of a fishing request, but I might replace with a frog later. I’ve been meaning to replace the typewritter with the painting set, but it keeps replacing the koi instead :T
