Ok so I’ve had this game for just a few days but I noticed I failed catching sharks the first 8 times I tried and I started losing hope of getting the hang of it, but then I thought of something simple and it works for me!! So:

1) Wait until the shark has noticed your bait
2) CLOSE YOUR EYES
3) Press A once you hear the splash

 I noticed I failed catching a shark by either being too excited and clicking too early or being a millisecond too late when I saw/heard him dive down with the bait.

 Closing your eyes makes you focus solemly on the noise and you don’t see it approaching the bait, I tried this out today and I caught a hammerhead, two sharks, a saw shark and an ocean sunfish! I find it very helpful for me personally. So if you’re hopeless this might be worth a try!! Enjoy <3

I ACTUALLY DID THIS EVERY TIME I WOULD CATCH A SHARK. I’M GLAD I WASN’T THE ONLY ONE LOL.

So, when I try to tell you guys how I get my villagers to suggest public works projects, I don’t think I’m explaining it very well, so I decided to make a video of it!

In this video I show you how to get villagers to ping you, for PWP, new catchphrases and greetings, recieve gives, prompt tasks, etc!

It certainly takes time, but it’s well worth it if you’re desperate for a certain request.

Step one: TT to a new day 5:58 am right before 6 when the town resets. Make sure you have a space to move a villager in ofc.

Step two: Play as your mayor at 5:58 am, save and quit right away. 

Step three: Begin a new file, talk with rover, head over to your camp. 

Step four: If there is a tent (there won’t always be) check it. If it’s not someone you want or there isn’t a tent, turn off your game. Re-do step 3.

Step five: If it is someone you want in your town do all the necessary steps with Isabelle with your new character and then save and quit. Re-load as mayor and convince them to stay.

Simply sit behind your desk at City Hall and talk to Izzy about Demolishing a public works project. She’ll ask you what you want to demolish, and the map will pop up. DON’T CLICK ANYTHING ON THE BOTTOM SCREEN OR AN X WILL BLINK. Hit left and right at the same time and TADA! Screenshot of your map! Crop or do what ever you wanna do with it!

Uh you can figure out the lucky cats (left handed versus right handed), the bass is the biggest instrument and really should know your chess pieces :U. I might be missing somethings, send me an ask if i am aawuuu.
